DESCRIPTION
This 17-pound counterweight (approx. 7.7 kg) is engineered to fit mounts using a 19 mm diameter shaft. It ensures proper balance of the optical tube (OTA) and any additional accessories attached to the RA axis. Accurate balancing is critical to protect the mount's drive system and improve tracking performance.
Adding cameras, guiders, or other equipment may require extra counterweights. This model includes a robust knurled lock knob to safely secure the weight on the shaft.
