The ZWO ASI678MM is a monochrome camera dedicated to planetary and high-speed astrophotography. It is equipped with a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 CMOS sensor in 1/1.8" format, offering a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The STARVIS 2 technology ensures enhanced near-infrared sensitivity and extremely low noise, ideal for lunar, solar, and planetary observation.
Its exposure range from 32μs to 2000s allows flexibility across various imaging scenarios, including some deep-sky objects.
The ASI678MM features a 12-bit ADC, integrated 512 MB DDR3 buffer for smooth data transmission, and a USB 3.0 interface ensuring high-speed data transfer.
It is compatible with ZWO filters and filter wheels and easily mounts via its M42x0.75 thread or the built-in 1/4" tripod mount.
