DESCRIPTION
The ZWO ASI120MM Mini features a ¼″ ON Semiconductor AR0130CS sensor (4.8 × 3.6 mm) with 1280 × 960 resolution and 3.75 µm pixels, offering a strong balance of resolution and sensitivity. It includes a 12‑bit ADC, low read noise (~4 e⁻), and a full well capacity of 13 000 e⁻, delivering wide dynamic range even in low light.
With a ~80 % quantum efficiency, it efficiently captures guiding stars or planetary details. The camera runs at 35 FPS full resolution, reaching up to 224 FPS in ROI mode—perfect for freezing atmospheric turbulence.
Lightweight (approx. 60 g) and with a 1.25″ barrel, it focuses at the same depth as an eyepiece, eliminating refocus when switching to parallel guiding setups.
It features a USB‑C 2.0 port and ST‑4 autoguider port, ensuring stable data transfer for demanding applications.
