DESCRIPTION
The ZWO ASI533MM Pro is a monochrome camera featuring the 1” Sony IMX533 sensor with a square resolution of 3008 x 3008 pixels (9 MP). Its back-illuminated (BSI) design and 91% quantum efficiency deliver exceptional sensitivity and minimal thermal noise, with no amp-glow.

It achieves 20 fps at full resolution (14-bit) via USB 3.0. The built-in 256 MB DDR3 buffer ensures stable image transmission, even over USB 2.0. This camera excels in deep-sky astrophotography using short-exposure stacking and is also suitable for planetary imaging.

A dual-stage TEC cooling system drops the sensor temperature to -35°C below ambient, dramatically improving the signal-to-noise ratio. A 12V 5A power supply (not included) is required for cooling.

The camera has a female M42 thread (T2), 2" nosepiece, and includes M42/M48 and M42/1.25" adapters, two extension rings (21 mm and 16.5 mm), 4 spacers, one 2 m USB 3.0 cable, two 50 cm USB 2.0 cables, and is fully compatible with ASIStudio, ASCOM, Prism, SharpCap, FireCapture, and other imaging software.
