DESCRIPTION
The ZWO ASI533MC Pro is equipped with a back-illuminated Sony IMX533 CMOS sensor, offering a square resolution of 3008 × 3008 pixels (9 MP). This backlit design achieves a high quantum efficiency of up to 80% and completely eliminates amp glow—even in long exposures.
Its dual-stage thermoelectric cooling can lower the sensor temperature by up to 35 °C below ambient, reducing thermal noise dramatically. Read noise is as low as 1.0 e⁻ and frame rates of up to 20 fps are supported over USB 3.0.
A 256 MB DDR3 buffer ensures smooth, lossless data transfer. The camera includes USB cables, T2/M48 adapters, anti-dew ring, user manual and padded storage case, making it ready to use after software installation.
