DESCRIPTION
Celestron's StarSense AutoAlign completely automates the alignment process of compatible GoTo telescopes. Replacing the standard finderscope, the included digital camera scans the sky, identifies stars, and aligns the telescope without manual input.
Just install the camera using one of the included brackets, connect the dedicated StarSense hand controller, enter the date, time, and location—then press Align.
StarSense captures and matches sky images to its internal database, determining the scope’s orientation in under 3 minutes.
Once aligned, the Sky Tour function will automatically guide you to the best celestial objects currently visible.
Advanced mount modeling is built in, with the option to add up to 10 calibration stars for enhanced GoTo accuracy—especially beneficial for astrophotographers.
