DESCRIPTION
The Baader Pushfix 2" to 1¼" reducer is a precision adapter with an optical length of just 1 mm, ideal for Newtonian Crayford focusers such as Baader’s BDS-NT. It allows secure mounting of 1¼" accessories into 2" focusers using three flexible clamping methods: a classic thumbscrew with brass compression ring, a countersunk locking screw for semi-permanent conversion, or the quick-change Pushfix system using three adjustable nylon pressure points.
The quick-insert Pushfix mode offers tool-free operation—just insert the eyepiece with light pressure. The Delrin grub screws act as adjustable stops, holding the accessory firmly without leaving marks. The reducer is internally threaded for T-2 (M42x0.75) and M48, ensuring broad compatibility with Newtonian setups.
Its external diameter is 54 mm and net weight 100 g. This reducer is ideal for observers who want quick, repeatable, and stress-free changes of 1¼" accessories.
