Description
The 10Micron AZ 4000 HPS with DT Set is a high-precision altazimuth mount based on the GM4000 HPS II mechanics. Designed for heavy instrumentation and scientific research, it combines absolute encoders with high-speed servo motors using 10Micron’s exclusive HPS technology.

Built entirely from CNC-machined aluminum alloy for extreme rigidity and no flexure, the mount includes a dual telescope configuration allowing two optical tubes (150 kg + 100 kg). This setup is ideal for satellite tracking, photometry, astrometry, high-resolution spectroscopy, and LiDaR applications.

For long-exposure astrophotography, a field de-rotator (e.g. Planewave IR90 or Optec Gemini) is required due to the altazimuth geometry.

The included DT kit is compatible with GM4000 series plates, including Loduel and Maxidual systems, enabling up to four OTAs (two per side). The V3 control box includes a Linux-based ARM processor, industrial-grade connectors, precision GPS with PPS signal, and integrated Wi-Fi.
