Description
The 10Micron AZ 5000 DDS represents the most advanced generation of professional robotic mounts developed by 10Micron. Built upon decades of expertise in robotic telescope systems, this altazimuth fork mount features software-integrated derotator and focuser, and is engineered for the demanding needs of research institutions, satellite tracking operations, and scientific observatories.
Every element of the AZ DDS platform has been meticulously designed to meet the highest performance standards in mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software design. Its rigid structure, compact fork geometry, and integrated safety systems ensure superior performance with maximum reliability for both the instrument and the operator.
The AZ 5000 DDS is optimized for 24" to 26" optics, with a total payload capacity of up to 250 kg. It is delivered in standard configuration for Cassegrain focus telescopes and may be customized with dedicated flanges. A Nasmyth focus variant is also available as an option.
Complete telescope systems with matched optics are available on request. Custom configurations are supported.
