The Celestron 0.7x Focal Reducer for EdgeHD 1400 is designed to improve the performance of your EdgeHD 1400 telescope in astrophotography. By reducing the focal length by 0.7x, it allows for a 43% wider field of view and halves the exposure time, all while maintaining optimal image quality.

This reducer features a 5-element optical design, including lanthanum glass elements with low dispersion, to minimize chromatic aberrations and maximize contrast. Each air-glass surface is multi-coated for maximum light transmission, and lens edges are blackened to reduce internal reflections.

The CNC-machined aluminum housing ensures precise spacing and alignment of optical elements. The reducer threads directly onto the 3.25" rear cell of the EdgeHD 1400 optical tube, reducing mechanical vignetting and allowing the use of full-frame sensors and off-axis guiders.
