The "Black Line" telescopes by Skywatcher convince with very good mechanical parts and quality optics. We quarantee for a diffraction-limited system. Observations with the 8" Newtonian: 200mm aperture already show nebulae and galaxies with structure. Even at higher magnifications in the deep-sky, the image remains relatively bright and contrasty. The moderate focal ratio of f/5 allows using a small secondary mirror with 52mm minor axis resulting in 25% diametral obstruction. Magnifications up to ca. 400x are possible for great lunar and planetary observations. |
