Description:
The Sky-Watcher 150/750 PDS OTA is a 150 mm Newtonian telescope optimized for visual observation and astrophotography. With a fast focal ratio of f/5 and a parabolic primary mirror, it offers a bright, sharp image of deep-sky objects and planets.
The PDS version includes a 2" Crayford focuser with 1:10 micro-reduction, allowing precise focusing required for imaging. The secondary mirror is slightly larger than in standard versions to fully illuminate modern camera sensors.
Its large aperture gathers 460 times more light than the naked eye, making it suitable for a wide range of targets: open clusters, nebulae, bright galaxies, and lunar/planetary detail. The 750 mm focal length makes it versatile and beginner-friendly.
Delivered without mount, this tube can be paired with a suitable equatorial mount (manual or motorized), including harmonic drive mounts.
