The Sesto Senso 2 robotic focusing motor, successor to the 2017 model, integrates all control electronics and the motor into a compact CNC-machined aluminum enclosure (87.5 x 64 x 43 mm) with anodized finish. Weighing only 380 grams, it combines lightweight design with robustness and functionality.

Thanks to its Self Centering Clamp (SCC) technology, it can be mounted on most focusers without external brackets. This self-centering clamp enables quick, secure, and easy installation. The motor replaces the focuser’s coarse and fine adjustment knobs.

Control is achieved via a reversible USB-C port, compatible with Windows computers and Eagle systems, ensuring reliable connection even in the dark. The Sesto Senso 2 also features integrated WiFi connectivity, allowing control from any smartphone or tablet through the Virtual HandPad app. This intuitive interface facilitates remote focusing without the need for a computer.

A key feature is that the system also allows free manual focusing using the remaining focuser knob, without any blockage or resistance, providing full flexibility to the user.

Status LEDs on the unit are dimmable and can be turned off to avoid interfering with night observations.

The motor reaches an outstanding 0.7-micron resolution, delivering highly precise focusing necessary for advanced astrophotography.

A dedicated ARCO port allows direct connection to an ARCO camera rotator, simplifying field rotation control without extra cables.

The Sesto Senso 2 comes with multiple color-coded bushings for different focuser types, a USB-C to standard USB cable, a 12V cigarette lighter power cable, Allen keys for assembly, and a quick installation guide.
