The ESATTO 4" is the largest robotic focuser in the ESATTO family, designed for observatory-class telescopes or astrographs requiring large free aperture, such as the Takahashi FSQ-106. Featuring a 102.2 mm aperture and a 10 kg payload, it provides a robust and precise focusing system for professional instruments.

The Crayford-style focuser uses 40 ball bearings to ensure flexure-free and highly reliable operation. It offers 35 mm of focusing travel with an exceptional 0.04 micron resolution per step. Its low-profile design measures 65 mm thick (91 mm with internal flange) and includes USB-C and WiFi connectivity. It supports ASCOM drivers on Windows and works with PLAY software for intuitive control via smartphone, tablet, or PC.

The ARCO port allows easy connection to the ARCO camera rotator and field de-rotator for comprehensive control without extra cables. Weighing 2050 grams, the focuser combines durability and compactness.

A special adapter enables replacement of the original focuser on the Takahashi FSQ-106 while maintaining the same focus point and compatibility with existing photographic adapters. This complete system meets the demands of astrophotographers seeking precision, reliability, and ease of use.
