Description
The ESATTO 3" is a robotic focuser ideal for many telescopes such as large refractors, Ritchey-Chrétiens and Cassegrain telescopes. Specifically designed for astrophotography, it includes Virtual HandPad technology that allows WiFi control from smartphone or tablet. This all-in-one system removes the need for bulky external controllers.
The ESATTO 3" features a Crayford-style focuser with 28 ball bearings designed for high load capacity up to 8 kg with no flexure. Its low profile of 58 mm (77 mm with internal flange) makes it compatible with a wide range of instruments.
It has a focuser travel of 25 mm with an incredible resolution of 0.04 microns per step, ensuring extremely precise focusing. It supports ASCOM drivers and can be controlled via USB-C or WiFi, notably using PrimaLuceLab's PLAY software.
It includes many threaded camera adapters with stop ring on the camera side to keep the camera precisely aligned in the optical axis. It also features an ARCO port for direct connection to a camera rotator and field de-rotator, avoiding the need for additional cables.
