Baader Hyperion 68° Eyepiece Set – Complete 5 to 24 mm Kit

DESCRIPTION

The Baader Hyperion 68° eyepiece set includes all essential focal lengths from 5 to 24 mm. Each eyepiece offers a generous 68° apparent field of view tailored to the human eye, with a modular design using 8 lens elements in 5 groups. A comfortable 20 mm eye relief ensures prolonged, relaxed viewing.

All eyepieces feature two top-end threads: M43 and SP54. These allow direct attachment of DSLR and compact cameras for classical or afocal projection. The Hyperions are also compatible with Zeiss Diascope spotting scopes using the optional #2454500 adapter.

Baader's Phantom Group Coating ensures maximum light transmission, especially around 520 nm where human night vision is most sensitive. These coatings minimize reflections, stray light, and color shifts.

The standard 1.25" filter thread allows use of astronomical filters, and the barrels feature safety undercuts to avoid slipping.

Optional 14 mm and 28 mm fine-tuning rings allow adjustment of focal lengths without optical degradation, turning a 5 mm into a 2.6 mm eyepiece without adding elements.

All eyepieces are parfocal for minimal refocusing between changes.

Delivered in a robust carrying case with dust caps, folding and winged eyecups, and accessories.
