Description:
The Baader multi-coated ND 1.8 neutral density filter reduces light intensity by a factor of 64, allowing only 1.5% of light to pass through. Designed for controlling brightness during lunar or solar visual observations (solar use only with additional certified filter), it prevents glare and helps improve contrast without degrading sharpness.

Thanks to its Phantom Group anti-reflective coating applied on both sides, it eliminates internal reflections, ghosting, and glare. The filter is threaded on both sides to allow combination with other Baader filters (e.g. color filters or solar filters).

Its high-end optical polishing ensures perfect sharpness even at high magnification, and even when positioned 20 to 30 cm beyond the focal plane. A practical and safe solution for use in front of eyepieces or binoculars.
