DESCRIPTION
The Celestron Advanced VX is the most compact German equatorial Go-To mount in Celestron’s range, offering the same rigidity as larger models. It’s designed to support telescopes up to 30 lb (13.6 kg), ideal for beginners and experienced astroimagers alike.

Equipped with the NexStar+ hand control and a database of over 40,000 objects, the mount includes ports for autoguiding, USB (on the handset), and two AUX ports for accessories. The dual saddle accepts CG-5 (Vixen ≥100 mm) and CGE-style dovetails (not compatible with Losmandy D plates).

Imaging features include All-Star Polar Alignment, PEC (programmable), and the powerful CPWI control software (ASCOM-compatible, PointXP modelling), plus Starry Night Special Edition for planning sessions and controlling the scope via PC.

Its 2" stainless steel tripod provides excellent stability and adjustable height. The full kit weighs 47 lbs, including a 12 lb counterweight, and is highly portable for field or fixed observatory use.
