Description:
The iOptron HAE43 GoTo AZ/EQ Mount is a compact and powerful solution for mobile astronomers and astrophotographers. Featuring strain wave gear technology on both RA and DEC axes, the mount achieves an outstanding weight-to-payload ratio: 12.8 lb for a 44 lb payload, without any counterweights or shafts.
Its black anodized, CNC-machined all-metal housing ensures maximum rigidity and stability for imaging or visual use. Unique features like the electronic friction brake and memory retention allow the mount to resume GoTo or tracking after sudden power loss without the need to realign.
The mount includes an integrated iPolar electronic polar scope, ST-4 port, USB port, and Wi-Fi through the Go2Nova controller. Control options include Windows (ASCOM/Commander), Raspberry Pi (INDI), or mobile devices using apps like SkySafari.
