Description:
The Meade f/6.3 focal reducer is designed to transform your f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope into a faster and wider-field instrument, reducing the focal length by 37%. A 2000 mm focal length becomes approximately 1260 mm, improving imaging performance and widening the visual field.
Specifically optimized for UHTC-coated Meade optics, this reducer/corrector also works with any SC telescope using a standard 2" SC thread. It flattens the field of view, making it well-suited for astrophotography with APS-C and smaller sensors.
The compact design allows easy installation between the telescope and a 1.25" diagonal or camera. Benefits include:
Shorter exposure times in imaging
Wider field of view for observation
Increased brightness for deep-sky objects
