Long description:
The Baader Semi-APO 1.25" filter is designed for achromatic refractors, combining the effects of the Neodymium Moon & Skyglow filter and a reinforced Fringe Killer. This advanced combination delivers high-contrast, color-neutral images without the internal reflections caused by stacking two separate filters.
It efficiently eliminates blue and red halos (violet fringing), offering significantly cleaner and sharper planetary and lunar views. Thanks to its built-in IR-blocking coating, it also works well for astrophotography, especially with CMOS or CCD cameras lacking an integrated IR-cut filter.
With high optical quality and zero ghosting, this filter is a must-have for visual and imaging applications using small achromatic refractors.
