DESCRIPTION
The ZWO ASI662MC features a Sony IMX662 CMOS color sensor, 1/2.8" format, 1920 x 1080 resolution, and a 6.45 mm diagonal. With STARVIS 2 architecture, it delivers zero electroluminescence, excellent NIR sensitivity, 12-bit dynamic range, and ultra-low read noise.
Its BSI structure ensures high light efficiency even in low-light conditions. Compared to ASI462MC, the 662MC has three times higher pixel capacity, reducing saturation risks during long exposures. With reduced dark current and automatic HCG activation at gain 252, it achieves both high sensitivity and low noise. Perfect for planetary, EAA, and deep-sky imaging using lucky imaging techniques.
The ASI662MC features an M42 female thread, 12.5 mm backfocus, and comes with a 2.1 mm lens, USB cable, ST4 cable, and M42/31.75 mm adapter. Compatible with ASIStudio, ASCOM, INDI, and widely supported by imaging software such as NINA, PHD2, and FireCapture.
